About the Farm

Rooted Futures Farm is an urban agriculture and land stewardship initiative based in Greater New Orleans dedicated to reconnecting people with food, land, culture, and community. Through sustainable growing practices, environmental education, and neighborhood-based engagement, we create opportunities for individuals and families to learn, grow, and thrive while building a more resilient future.

What began as a backyard growing project has evolved into a long-term vision for community gardens, food forests, educational programming, climate resilience projects, and a future multi-acre farm and wellness retreat. We believe that food is more than nourishment; it is a pathway to health, economic opportunity, environmental stewardship, cultural preservation, and community healing.

Rooted Futures Farm is currently in its foundational development phase. We are raising capital and community investment to build the infrastructure needed to transform our micro-farm into a living laboratory for food, education, climate resilience, and community stewardship.

The Growers Guild

The Grower Guild is a collective of neighbors, gardeners, growers, and emerging land stewards working together to reclaim knowledge, build food sovereignty, and strengthen community resilience across New Orleans.
Open to beginners and experienced growers alike, the Guild provides education, mentorship, workshops, and opportunities to participate in the BLOC by BLOC network.
